1. The service
Cortexa ("Cortexa", "we", "us") provides a platform for hosting automated webinars, registering and engaging attendees, collecting and managing leads, and scheduling appointments. By creating an account or registering for a webinar, you agree to these terms. If you use Cortexa on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may not use the platform to send spam, host unlawful or misleading content, infringe others' rights, probe or disrupt the service, or attempt to access data belonging to other organizations.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the platform or its users at risk.
3. Organization responsibilities
Organizations (such as clinics) that run webinars and collect leads through Cortexa are the controllers of the attendee and lead data they collect. As an organization, you are responsible for:
- the content of your webinars, landing pages, and messages, including their accuracy and legality (including any health-related claims);
- having a lawful basis to contact your registrants and leads, and honoring their opt-outs and deletion requests;
- complying with the platform policies of connected services — in particular Meta's advertising and lead-ads policies for leads collected through Facebook.
4. Webinar attendees
Registering for a webinar creates a registration with the hosting organization. Reminder and follow-up messages related to that webinar may be sent to you by the organization through the platform. How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and plan features may change with notice before your next renewal.
6. Content and intellectual property
Organizations retain all rights to the videos, materials, and content they upload, and grant Cortexa the licence needed to store, process, and deliver that content (for example transcoding and streaming it to registered viewers). Cortexa and its licensors retain all rights to the platform itself. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the platform.
7. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We work to keep webinars and streams reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and live streams can be affected by factors outside our control (networks, third-party providers). Nothing on the platform constitutes medical advice; webinar content is the responsibility of the hosting organization.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cortexa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts paid by you for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Upon termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Instructions.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the operator's place of establishment, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the application or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: privacy@cortexa.vip.
